Why this Photo Won
I envy people who are able to do this sort of photography. I’ve often been inspired by minimalistic seascapes, but my own attempts always leave me feeling disappointed. It is remarkably difficult to capture a scene like this in a way that appeals artistically.
The muted tones and colour add to the overall effect and the wave adds just enough detail to make the picture interesting.
